A later post, but went to the first Asian Night Market Festival: Red Eye Market back in early November. It was amazing to see all the various Asian food restaurants in the DMV area in one place.

If you are Asian, you usually celebrate two new years. The REACH at the Kennedy Center hosted a lunar new year celebration with a collaboration from the Korean Cultural Center in DC.
Outside was a beautiful light display with the zodiac signs, pandas, and mushrooms. Inside were traditional Korean activities and I was told there was also a Korean drum performance as well.
It’s times like these when I am grateful to live in DC as its the ♥️ of culture.
